The time has arrived for Undercroft’s Annual Spring Bedding Plant sale. Proceeds from the sale will go towards the “greening” of the Natural Playscape. Please find attached an order blank for the available bedding plants. Bedding plants are available by flats only. Please feel free to ask friends, neighbors and relatives if they are interested in purchasing plants through this sale. Additional order blanks are available in the office. Orders need to be turned in by April 13th 2017. Please have checks made out to Undercroft. Plants will be distributed on Monday afternoon, April 23rd. If your child attends aftercare, your order will be left in front of the building for you to pick up. In honor of Earth Day, April 22nd, why not consider creating a habitat for butterflies and hummingbirds or simply add color and beauty to your yard with flowers from the Undercroft Spring plant sale.
On behalf of the UMS children, thank you for supporting our efforts to make the Undercroft campus a well balanced environment for all living things.

Undercroft Montessori School has provided authentic Montessori education for children in Tulsa since 1964. Currently serving children from age three through eighth grade, the school and community are committed to academic excellence; independence in thought and action; critical and collaborative thinking; and compassion and respect for self, community and the world.
On Saturday, April 14, 2018, we will host our 17th annual fUNDERaiser. This year’s theme is Glow in the Dark ‘80s. This fun event features artwork from Undercroft students and goods and services donated from throughout our community in our live, silent and online auctions. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year and our community is a critical part of its success. In order to purchase expensive equipment, educational materials and furnishings that are not covered by tuition alone, Undercroft relies upon the proceeds from this event.
How can you help? There are many ways but we especially need donations! A donation can be an item, special service, gift certificate, or even a bottle of wine. The next time you are running an errand at a local business, eating at your favorite restaurant, dropping kids off at an extracurricular activity or shopping, consider using the enclosed donation form and community letter to share information about this event. You would be surprised how many businesses are willing to help out – we have provided some suggested businesses to solicit along with this letter.
Not excited about knocking on doors – no problem! There are other ways to help. As another option, consider donating one of our “Pay to Play” items where you can provide a dinner or other fun event that multiple people can sign-up for. For example, we’ve had a Wine & Yoga party, Tour of Tulsa, Burger Crawl, and even an Art Party donated in the past.
Still not your cup of tea? No problem – consider making a monetary donation to sponsor a table for family and friends or part of the event to offset costs for the facilities, auctioneer, catering, photo booth or the DJ!
Like last year, we have made it easy to help by creating a sign-up genius for our donations; please look through the list of businesses that frequently donate to our fUNDERaiser event and commit to acquiring a donation from them by signing up. We suggest every parent sign-up to acquire at least ONE donation. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d45a5ad28a13-2018/5111411
Please complete the form (make sure to include the value of the item) and provide a copy to the merchant, which will serve as their receipt. The white copy must be turned in to the office along with the donated item.
We request all donated items be submitted by Monday, March 26th, 2018 in order to allow enough time for volunteers to prepare for the event.
On behalf of the students, parents and staff at Undercroft, thank you for your time and consideration. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
