Lisa Goldfarb – Lower Elementary GuideLisa ‘Ms. G’ Goldfarb happily admits that she has spent nearly ‘half her life’ here at Undercroft. She began 26 years ago as a parent and as the part-time Art teacher. During a move to New Jersey, she added AMS Certification for ages 3-6 to her Bachelor’s in Art Education, and later returned to Tulsa (and to Undercroft) and increased her Certification to include ages 6-9. She is now a Lower Elementary Guide and the Advisor for that program. Lisa and her husband, Phil, have 2 children (Lindsay and Jared, both UMS alumni); a daughter-in-law (Kelly, a UMS Guide) and a granddaughter (Mara, no doubt a future UMS student). Last but not least, they recently added their Lab, Gracie Belle Goldfarb, to the family. |

Traci Langley – Lower Elementary Guide‘Ms. Langley’ has been a lower elementary guide with Undercroft since 1997. Her career in education started when she graduated from Northeastern State University with a degree in Speech Pathology and then followed with a teaching certificate for Learning Disabilities the next year. This love for working with children led her to find Undercroft. Traci was then able to obtain her Montessori training from Houston Montessori Center. Her love of nature and the outdoors that Montessori provides has been another nice fit for Traci’s personality. She enjoys spending time outdoors doing anything from weeding flower beds to walking around a car show. Traci also loves many different games and sports. Traci married her husband, Bryce, in 1995 and they live in Claremore with two beautiful children. Their first child, Coleman, now attends Undercroft as well. And Kayci, their second child, is right behind her big brother. |
Barbara Blanchette – Lower Elementary GuideBorn and raised in Tulsa, Barbara graduated from Bishop Kelley High School before moving to Colorado to enjoy living in the mountains of Aspen. She attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and graduated in 1985 with a degree in Sociology. While raising her two children, Barbara operated a home daycare in New Hampshire for 10 years before returning to Tulsa in 1998. ‘Ms Barbara’ has been teaching at Undercroft since 1999 and received her Montessori Lower Elementary training at the Houston Montessori Center in 2000. Barbara says she was drawn to the Montessori method because of its peace curriculum and the desire to help children achieve a sense of inner peace. |
