Mary Fox – Learning SpecialistMary Fox comes to Undercroft with 29 years of teaching experience. She has spent the last 27 years serving students with special needs and differing learning styles at Jenks Public Schools. She is a native Tulsan but has also lived in Texas and California. She earned her undergraduate degree in elementary and special education at Texas Christian University and masters degree from the University of Tulsa. She loves working with the students, staff and parents at Undercroft to ensure every student is successful. |

Debbie French – Art Specialist‘Ms. French’ has been a part of the Undercroft community for 12 years. Originally from Kentucky, she graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and a minor in Art. After staying home to raise her 2 children, Ellie and Jesse, she returned to school to specialize in Learning Disabled and Early Childhood Education. Debbie taught L.D. classes for 3 years in the Broken Arrow school district, where she was named ‘Teacher of the Year’, and Art for an additional year. She came to Undercroft in 1996 as an assistant to Paddy Sandefur in Upper Elementary. She began developing an Art program in the afternoons and summers and became our Art Specialist in 1999. During a brief break from Undercroft, Debbie also worked in the Ceramics Department and the University of Tulsa. She calls her years at UMS ‘extraordinary’. |
Teresa Mossburg – Music SpecialistMrs. Teresa Mossburg believes music is a gift to us and it is meant to be shared with joy. She is delighted to be returning to Undercroft this year as the Music Specialist after adopting her beautiful two children 7 and 5 years ago. While previously at Undercroft (from 1996-2003), Teresa studied the Montessori method and truly respects and integrates the methodology. Teresa graduated cum laude from the University of Tulsa in 1984 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. As a child, she played the piano and joined the school band in 6th grade. While at the university, she majored in Instrumental Music (emphasis on trumpet with a minor in voice and piano). Teresa has been a music teacher for grades pre-k – 12 in and around the Tulsa area for the past 24 years. She is a member of the American Orff-Shulweerk Association and has enjoyed various opportunities to study and use the Orff method and the Kodaly music method. She has also taught private piano lessons for the past 16 years. |

Justin Kasparek – Steel Drums and After School BandMr. Justin just completed his first year as an instructor at Undercroft, but he was also here as a Primary student years ago. A life-long musician, Justin has taught private guitar lessons and been involved in various musical projects in Tulsa for several years. He now leads our Steel Drum and After School Band programs. |
Carolyn Flippo – EspanolMs. Flippo has been at Undercroft since 1990. After residing in South American for 9 years, she return to the U.S. and began as an Upper Elementary Assistant and Spanish Teacher. She moved abroad again, to Norway, from 1994-1996 and returned to UMS to teach Spanish to the Lower Elementary through Middle School levels. She made a change to Middle School assistant in 2005 and in 2009 transitioned back into the role of Spanish teacher. Senorita Flippo spends about one hour per day in each Primary and Lower Elementary classroom, teaching conversational Spanish. Senorita Flippo is also the Director of the Lower Elementary After Care Program. |

Michael Nsien – Physical EducationMr. Nsien grew up in Tulsa, where he graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. He earned degrees in Communication and Business Management from the University of Dayton, Ohio in 2003. Michael then began his career as a professional soccer player. He played with the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Portland Timbers, with short stints in Nigeria, Dubai and Holland. He continues to stay active in soccer as a director at OK Texans Soccer Club. Michael has a passion for working with children and youth in the areas of physical education and sports. He enjoys spending time with his wife of three years, Megan and his two year old son, Myles. |
Molly Berger – Speech and Language PathologistMolly was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1975, she attended the University of Kansas and graduated with a B.S. in Education in 1979. In 1981, she completed her M.A. in Speech/Language Pathology She has worked as a Speech/Language Pathologist for 28 years in public and private schools. She has worked at Undercroft for 16 years. Molly and her husband, Sheldon, have been married for 30 years and have two children. Michael is 21 years old and a senior at the University of Illinois and Sarah (an Undercroft alum) is a freshman at the University of Colorado. |

Jennifer Ramp – After Care and Nap Room‘Ms. Jennifer’ began working at Undercroft in the Fall of 2008 after living in Tulsa just a few days. She has held many exciting jobs including flight attendant and flight attendant instructor for an international airline and one year with VISTA volunteers as a low-income housing community builder in St. Paul, MN. Jennifer and her husband have a three year old daughter, Amelia, who will begin Undercroft in the fall. |
