Organic Coffee Beans Roasted by an Undercroft Alum!

Tyler Walderich (UMS Class of ’21) is a passionate young entrepreneur who discovered his love for coffee roasting during high school. What started as a creative way to save up for college quickly turned into a thriving small business. An alum of Undercroft Montessori School, Tyler credits the school’s hands-on, self-directed learning environment for sparking his early interest in entrepreneurship. At Undercroft, he gained a foundational understanding of how to operate a business even before entering high school, giving him a head start in turning his passion into a purpose.

He roasts fair-trade, organic whole-bean coffee in his garage using a professional-grade roaster and beans sourced from small farms around the world. His dedication to quality and community helped him grow a loyal following, turning his side hustle into a meaningful pursuit that not only supported his education but also fueled a growing local coffee culture.

Wanting to give back to the school that helped shape his entrepreneurial spirit, Tyler has partnered with Undercroft to offer his coffee as a fundraising opportunity and learning experience for students. Through this collaboration, he continues to support the next generation of young learners while sharing his love for thoughtfully roasted coffee.
